Last year we achieved over 2,400 cars less cars on Harrogate roads.
Help us make it more than 5,000 this year!
About Us
We are a group of local residents who, after watching BBC Channel 4 TV series ‘The Woman Who Stops Traffic’, were inspired to do something similar in Harrogate.
We have no political ties and are a group of volunteers who are keen to see, even just for one day, fewer cars on the road. If you would be interested in helping to organise this day and have the time to commit then please contact us at:
harrogatecarfreeday@hotmail.com
The Organising Committee consists of:
Grant Blakemore, Caroline Graham, Janet Hickman, Neil Jameson (Chair), Claire Kelley, Gia & Malcolm Margolis, Yvonne Skelton, Sara Swift (plus Dan and James when they are back from University) .
