Why not jump off the train on 22nd September and hire a bicycle to complete your journey or simply to get around town - all free!

Organised by the committee in partnership with Northern Rail, NYCC and the Rotary Club of Harrogate, this ‘Ride and Pedal’ scheme offers great opportunities not to use your car. Bicycles can be collected and returned to Harrogate Railway Station between 7.00am - 6.30pm.

You can register for free bike hire by emailing your name, address and telephone number to: rideandpedal@hotmail.com. ( Your details will not be past onto anyone else or be used for marketing purposes.)

A confirmation letter will be sent with further details of the arrangements.

Just visit www.leavethecar.com/carfreeday and register you details or call 01423 566061 by 18th September. Transdev will then post you your complimentary ZoneOne day ticket, valid for unlimited bus travel in Harrogate & Knaresborough on 22nd September. Or you can visit the Harrogate Customer Information Centre opposite the bus station to register.
