We cannot thank people enough for taking time out of their busy lives to support us. The response has been amazing and we delighted that so many recognise the need to tackle the issue of congestion in our town and made a personal effort to begin addressing it.

We hope you enjoyed the experience of not using your car and that you will try on a regular basis to use other forms of getting about.

Hundreds of local residents made Harrogate’s first Car Free Day a success. Many Businesses, Schools, Churches, Community groups and individuals made a special effort to not use their cars on the day.
